The arrangement of the video clips in the collections window is not arranged correctly...

Recently, i bought a snazzi software to extract video clips from the VCR into my computer...all the video clips are named clip1, clip2, clip3..........respectively.

When i was using movie maker 2...i tried importing the video clips and everything is arranged correctly.

When it came to clip 11 onwards..it becomes like.

clip1
clip1
clip1
clip1
clip1
clip1
clip1
clip1
clip1
clip
clip2
.......

I would like the numbers to be arranged like this.

clip
clip
clip
clip
clip
clip
clip
clip
clip1
clip1
clip1
.....

Could someone help me asap..i need help urgently.

Hi there,

Rename clip1 to clip01 etc...clip9 to clip09 and that should fix it. Its
all a matter of alphanumeric sorting.

You might try View | Arrange icons by > | and then choose something other
than name, perhaps your 'date taken on' metatdata would work for sorting.

Also, you can also sort the clip by date of creation. Likely Clip 11 has
been created after clip2. To do this, on the toolbar, click on the most top
right button with the left button and choose "Arrange Icons By -> Date
Taken".

That should do it.
