Thanks for your help Wes,
My friend is away right now, but after reading what you sent me I think I
can fix his startup problems. Also, I think found winsock2.2.exe on my
machine because of my searches and references to it, like this note I'm
writing now. I could not find "winsockdriver" which seem to be the main
culprit.
