text in control's labels changes to medium bold

i know it may sounds quite strange, but...
.....when i open a form and make some action (i.e. choosing values from a combobox or checking a checkbox or filtering teh recordset underling the form), text format in labels for all the other controls in the form (or sometimes for just a few of them) changes: it becames brighter... "more dark"... someway like a medium bold. This doesn't happen with any access-application i open and it's certanly not due to code.
Someone who knows why it may happen?
thanks
Nico

Hi Nico

Sometimes this can be caused by a shortage of system resources (memory) so
that instead of displaying the font associated with the control, the default
"System" font is used. Might this explain it?

my system has currently 512 RM and "it" happens also if access is the only app running.
On my previous pc (512 RAM) this desn't happen.
Any other possible suggestion?

Nico
