TEXT DIRECTION

POWERPOINT 2003/XP

TWO QUESTIONS:

1. Is there a way to make text appear UPSIDE DOWN in a text box? I know it
can be done in an inserted shape, but is it possible in a text box?

2. According to Microsoft Help, to make text VERTICAL one selects the
placeholder containing the text one wants to change, and then use the Change
Text Direction box to change the direction. However, I cannot find this on
my Formatting Toolbar. I've clicked the down arrow to the far right of the
Formatting Toolbar to bring up Toobar options, and looked both in the
Formatting drop down list and the Customize toolbar dialog box, and can't see
this command in either of those places either. Ideas?

Thanks,

A text box is an inserted shape :) Just grab the green blob and spin the
text box around until it's upside down. Or you can right click -> format text
box -> size -> rotation 180

Right click -> format text box -> text box -> tick 'roatate text within text
box by 90 degrees'. You may need to resize your text box after this. I'm
pretty sure 'change text direction' is a table thing in Word...
