Text Boxes

Hi

Is there anyway on Office 2003 using XP that you can automatically set it to
scale the text box size to the text. I know you can use the Resize Autoshape
to Fit Text option to scale up but is there a way of automatically scaling
down please?

Thanks

Definitely not. Any ideas why?

That setting should work both ways. Doesn't it?

Hm. It's probably got to do with Word Wrap and also how you make the textbox
in the first place. Do you click the textbox tool then click on the slide,
or do you click and drag on the slide to create the width of textbox you
want? But still, here, the textbox generally resizes as I expect it to when
I change the font size.

If I turn off Word Wrap and then size the box to the width I want it to be,
Word Wrap gets automatically checked again. But when I change the font size,
the box width stays the same. I think that's PPT respecting the setting it
thinks you want.

Hopefully someone else will have some ideas.
