text appears outside text box

I'm working in PPT 2007. When i create a text box and begin to type in text,
the text appears above the textbox, yet the cursor is still below in the text
box. Also, when i edit the text, I have to guess where the letter is in
relation to the text box. I've tried just moving the text box, but natural
the text goes with it, still above the box though. Do you know what the
problem is and any possible solution?

Thanks in advance.

Did you install a standard printer? Most problems of this type are due to
missing or corrupt printer drivers. More info:

This will sound weird, I know, but you need to add a printer driver and set
it as the default.

You want a Windows certified printer driver. The ones in the driver install
dialog -- they ship with Windows -- should be. See How to install a local
printer driver http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00605.htm for instrux.

If you actually have a printer installed already, you need to look on the
Windows Marketplace or the mfg's website for a certified printer driver for
it.
