Teredo Tunneling Pseudo Interface & Missing Network Menu

Anyone know how this thing gets turned on? I now have two pc's which
are hiding the ordinary network management menu and ipconfig says they
are running Teredo, which is supposed to be a Microsoft ipv6
workaround tool. The hiding of a menu seems unnecessary and suspicious
to me. One computer has XP and the other is Vista.

I have now turned off Teredo but the missing menu may be due to
autoconfiguration being enabled.

Teredo was disabled by going to System and Maintenance>Device Manager,
clicking View>Show Hidden Devices and then examining the network
devices... right-click disable Teredo.
