Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface?

Can someone please tell me what a Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface is? Can
someone tell me how to get rid of it?

I have never heard of it before. I have been struggling with problems on my
XP Pro system in that it appeared I had a trojan program of some sort. I
posted questions about this earlier. My McAfee anti-virus was finding
infected files, but did not seem to remove the source generating them.

In addition, my NIC became inoperable. I had a valid IP address, and DNS ,
etc, but I could not ping anything on my network.

I ran a program "sysclean.com" from TrendMicro, and I ran an Adware removal
program recommended on this newsgroup. To see if I could detect the problem
with the trojan.

It was n't till after that, that I saw this entry when I ran my IP config.
I had a NETSCREEN VPN application running on that system, and thought that
the entry might be related to that, but even after I uninstalled the
NETSCREEN application this entry remained.

I do not know what it is and it is probably wise to get rid of it. Can
someone please help me?

I disconnected my network cable to avoid getting even more problems, just
in case it was communicating with some unknown server.

Google is your friend.

yeah, but that's not much of an answer.

answer: in the NIC properties, uninstall "Microsoft TCP/IP" and
reboot. It goes away.

If you're saying 'i didn't know the answer', then be more clear. Or,
don't post. Usenet used to be a place where people communicated.
Nowadays, it's filled with losers saying, "do a web search". lol

If you want to post your answer go ahead. I posted one that I believe
will help the OP more in the end. That's an easy search to do and
google should almost always be the first step. Maybe they don't even
know about google. If the OP had said, I tried google and didn't get
anywhere, that would be different. Enough said...
