Ten thousand crashes and counting... Please HELP!!!

Ok, I'm at my wits' end here.
New computer. Outlook XP installed along with the rest of Office XP
(which, by the way, I'm beginning to consider just flushing the whole
thing and putting back 2000).

This evening Outlook is simply crashing again and again.
I have been unable to open any single e-mail that has an attachment.

I have in the past 20 minutes:
Crashed Outlook 100 times
Rebooted my computer 40 times.

I'm basically ready to scrap the whole damn office xp which in my
opinion is nothing but crap. 2000 was great and then XP comes along
basically 2000 + 10,000 bugs.

Any ideas as to what's causing my crashes?

Here's some other info:

Apps running in memory:
Norton Antivirus 2002
Winfax 10 controller
HP Laserjet 3300 Monitor Utility
PopupStopper Free Edition
MS ActiveSync
ZoneAlarm
APC Powerchute Personal

Here's some dumps from the Event Viewer:
Please explain the last one - that is my personal fav. WHO TOLD
MSINSTALLER TO RUN? NOT ME! I've got 4 of those crashes.

UPDATE:

Ok, after a few reboots and testing, I have determined that it SEEMS
to be the HP Laserjet 3300 Director software.
On a fresh boot, I shut down that software (systray icon monitoring
stuff), and used Outlook. Was able to launch an email that had an
attachment.

Rebooted, left the HP software running, launched SAME email... hung.
Rebooted, disabled software again, launched SAME email - ok.

Repeated same process about 5 times.

I wonder how a printer monitoring program can do this. Must call my HP
reseller support first thing Monday morning.

Actually it is more likely *your* system is buggy not outlook. Outlook
probably has nothing to do with it.

You might also want to look into uninstalling WinFax Pro unless it is
version 10.02 or .03. It has a great deal to do with Outlook problems.

Winfax is version 10.0 (2002.02.14)
It is not causing me any problems.
See other post - seems that my HP Laserjet software that monitors the
printer for the automatic Scan button is causing the problem. When it
is not active, I don't have the problem.

I cannot imagine how it could possibly be involved, but it seems that
it is.

I'm going to contact HP tomorrow.

Thanks.
