Temporary Internet Files cache clearing automatically

Dear All,

IE 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633

Update versions SP1; Q324929; Q810847; Q813951; Q813489; Q330994;
Q818529

Due to living in the sticks and being poor, I have a very slow
Internet connection, so have a lot of space reserved for my Temporary
Internet Files cache. IE6 is set to Never check for new files, and if
ever this causes me a problem I force a refresh manually.

But something odd has started happening. Whenever I start (NB start,
not exit) IE6, the cache gets emptied. The setting "Empty Temporary
Internet Files folder when browser is closed" is unchecked.

Any ideas?
