Temporary Files

By carrying out a search for
*.tmp
I have found many files of various origins and have been told that these may
be delete but would seek confirmation before doing so.
The files asre as follows;
C:\windows\temp
C:\documents&ettings\name\local settigs\tmp
C:\windows\system32\cat root..................
C:\windowstemp\slu2\tmp
C:\programfiles\commonfiles\symantec\shared............
Any advice would be appreciated

Reboot your system to make sure that none of those files are in use, then
they can be deleted.
