Temp IE Folder Overflows

With MS IE ver 6.0 & SP2 running smooth, ........
the chronic problem is with the size of IE's Temporary
Internet Files Folder memory bucket.

In IE's general settings the amount of disk space to
use for the Temp Folder is set at 4 GB with plenty of
free unused memory available. However ..... once the
Temp Folder fills with 359 MB of files .... any new data
is not saved. The only work-around I have found is to delete
the Temp files and revisit the sites. With 24 Kb dial-up .....
....... this is a problem.

Question:
How do I get IE to accept a larger Temp Folder if
the settings control seems useless ????

Final note: The "Virtual Memory Paging File Size" also
seems to default to 359 MB no matter what.

Reduce the size of Temporary Internet Files to 50 MB. Your much larger size
will slow IE down and cause other problems.
