Tasks being auto generated every 10 minutes and deleted automatica

Hello All, I have a huge quandry. I have a user on our Exchange SBS Server
using outlook 2003. This user for the past week seems to be getting 4
separate appointments created every 10 minutes. These appointments are
automatically hitting his Deleted Items folder and never actually get
scheduled. We cannot find any reoccurring items in the calendar and it only
happens when outlook is running. The items are 4 meeting requests and they
always are the same 4 with the same 3 or 4 attendees. I have removed his
profile and re-setup outlook and re-synced his e-mail to no avail. Strange
issue and I can;t find an KB or other item on the search engines to help out.

What addins are installed in Outlook? Does he have anything that is
accessing outlook data (that would not be listed in addins)? Does he sync
with a handheld?

How is he syncing each device? Try using just one device for a day to see if
it stops - if not, switch to the other.

Thanks for your reply, the problem with that solution is that neither of the
devices are connected to the laptop when this issue is happening. Neither are
using active sync over the air so there is no push/pull. When they are
connected they simply sync and are disconnected. So I am wondering if there
is some hidden macro or a stuck set of tasks that we can't see that keep
generating. All of them are dated to start in 12/12/79 but when we look in
the calendar there is nothing.

Tasks aren't on the calendar, they're in the Tasks folder. Do you see
anything there?

I used the wrong term. I wish I could post a photo here. But what is
happening is that an "Appointment" is being delivered into the deleted items
every 10-13 minutes. No device is connected and there are no reoccurring
appointments setup to do this. It's like outlook is stuck in a loop and keeps
populating the deleted items with 4 new appointments in 10-13 min intervals.
