i feel really stupid for asking this question but i need to know how do i
change my taskbar from being on the left side of my screen to back to the
bottom. someone in my house changed it and i dont know how they did it so if
u can tell me how to change it back i will be really thankful.

It's rather easy to do, once you know how.

Left click on the clock, hold the button then simply drag towards the lower
right of the display. You can also park the taskbar on the top or right.

Right-click on the taskbar first and make sure 'Lock the Taskbar' is not

Although by default the task bar appears on the bottom of the
screen, it can be on any of the sides you prefer it on. To move
it from any side to another, simply click on an unused part of it
and drag it where you want it. Be sure to click *within* it, not
on the edge; clicking on the edge and dragging will resize it.

If it won't move, it may be locked. In that case, right click on
it and uncheck "Lock the taskbar," then try again.
