Taskbar (autohide) balloon tip annoyances!!

Hi all,

Guess this has been mentioned a 1000 times but cant find no info on a fix
anywhere :-(

I see many prefer to remove those *annoying * balloon tips from the taskbar
(which is one answer) but I want to cure those annoying balloon tips from
hiding behind the Taskbar when Autohide and Always on top is selected.

Anyone help?

I wish I could help you, cuz I'm having the same problem. From the date of your post, I don't know if either of us is going to find the answer here! Sometimes my ToolTips show up in front of the taskbar, sometimes behind. If the ToolTip tells you the status of a program, it can be really annoying to not be able to see it. Oh well

There is no fix and MS has denied the bug which was introduced with Windows ME. I know for a fact it was bugged during both the ME and XP beta program.

The only thing I've seen that helps is to right click the task bar..uncheck
always on top and click apply. Then check always on top and click apply. It
will work for a while after that.
