Task Scheduler Error

Some of my tasks produce an error

"0x8007007a: The data passed to a system call is too small"

The MS Knowledge Base references this error but it applies
to software (MS IE 5.01) I don't use and as far as I know
is not loaded.

Despite this I searched the Registry for the suggested (in
the MS Knowledge base) registry key and could not find it.

I am running WinXP Home on a Dell 8300 machine.
