Task Manager

Hi All,
If I go Alt-Crl-Delete to bring up the task manager it pops up as it should,
however the top of it is missing, the bit that says 'Task Manager' in blue
and more importantly the X on the right to close it down. I mean the bit
like the title bar on an Excel userform.
All attempts to close it have failed, if I go Alt-Ctrl-Delete again it just
pops up another and another one ad nauseum. The only way to get rid of it is
to restart the machine.
I've had the Spy Axe infection recently and successfully eradicated that
(with considerable help from on here I might add, thanks to all). I think,
but I'm not that sure that this problem began before or during that, after
all, you don't use the task manager that often in normal use unless there's
a problem of some kind.
Since then I've run Ewido and Microsoft AntiSpyWare which say I'm clean, and
McAfee Virus Scan which says the same. I've also run Registry Mechanic which
always finds lots of problems and fixes them, but not this one.
Other than that, the machine is running perfectly, no other problems at all,
any ideas anyone?
TIA
Regards,
Alan.

Double click somewhere on the border of Task Manager. You have
it running in what's called "Tiny Footprint" mode.

Double click the border or graph body.

In mini mode you can still use Alt + F4 to exit and Ctrl + Tab to change tabs. Depending on what tab you where on you may have been able to terminate Task Manager with Task Manager.

If you mean what i think you mean it is only it compact view. To change
back double click on the grey space (or white) at the very top directly above
the headings. Or anywhere around the border.

Just noticed in the original query that I said I had a 22.1Ghz processor. I
wish I had but its a 2.1.

Alan.
