Task Manager Problem

G

georay

I recently did a clean install of WindowsXP Pro. I have done this several
times in the past with no problems. This time when I Press Alt-Ctrl-Del I
get this message: "Task manager has been disabled by your administrator."
How do I correct this?

Try this
a.. Open Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) and navigate to:
HKCU \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies\ System

a.. In the right-pane, double-click DisableTaskMgr and set it's data to 0
