Running XP Home on Toshiba laptop. was getting to know
the pointing device, etc., when suddenly the task bar
became two rows tall. No problem i thought. Position
the cursor at the edge between desk top and task bar; the
usual double headed arrow appeared. i moved it downward
to compress the task bar to its usual size of one row,
but instead it reduced so that barely a mm of the task
bar shows at the bottom. restored it to size (2 rows)
and tried again. no luck. seems like i can have a 2 row
task bar, or none, with nothing in between any
suggestions? Please respond to my e-mail address
