Task bar left over from Safe Mode

I had a reason to go to safe mode, and when I returned the task bar
(bottom line of screen showing "START", active programs, etc.) is still
in the large black & white font from safe mode. Everything else is
normal. Power off and power on hasn't fixed it. Any way to get my old
format back? Using W94 Pro, Firefox, Thunderbird.
