Tape Drive in "My Computer"

I have a tape drive in a "Windows 2000 Server" box.
The tape unit can be seen in "Device Manager", but it can't be seen in "My
computer". Before it was shown properly in "My Computer".
I tried using the driver provided by Windows and with another driver
provided by Veritas for the same device, but there is no way to see it in "My
Computer"
Can anybody tell me I should I do?

Tape drives are normally not shown in "My Computer". I have heard of some
third party software that might present the tape as a (slow) hard disk, but
I cannot remember the name of it.

Does Ntbackup.exe see your tape drive?

Best regards

Bjorn
