Table on Data menu

Lauren

I am in a class that is using the 2003 Excel book, but I'm using 2007, and
I'm having trouble finding the Table that used to be on the Data menu. I
have to insert something in the column input cell. If anyone can direct me,
it is greatly appreciated!

Hi Lauren

Data>List from XL2003 has been replaced in XL2007 with
Insert tab>Table

The book is showing: Data>Table
I am looking for the Table command. I guess that I should have been more
specific, but I'm not sure how to be since this is all so new to me and I'm
trying to make things harder by working at home! Hope you can get back to me
with more info, because I do appricate it! I'm taking this class to try to
learn, but I'm getting more confused!

I know that he is not lying but there has got to be a way for me to tell it
to define a data table even in 2007...it is just going to take 15 steps
instead of 2, just like shading used to take 2 and now take many more than
that.

I'm going to stop listening to Roger!

You can customize the QAT (Quick Access Toolbar)

Rightclick on the QAT
Choose Customize Quick Access Toolbar
Choose All commands
Add "Data Table" to the QAT.

Data Table is found here: Data tab -> Data Tools group -> What-If Analysis
menu.

My sincere apologies, I had totally misinterpreted what you were asking for.
As Jim pointed out, Data Table is part of the What If section on the Data
Tab.
