I am trysing to fix a 16 bit problem related to article
324767
i can not find on my pc a file ? called %systemroot%
i need to adjust systemroot to accept the 16 bit program
which has run on this pc for over 1 year and now today
does not run????

HELP!!!!!!!!!

%systemroot% is not a file but a system variable holding the path to your
systemroot, ie. (normally) C:\WINDOWS
FYI start, run, cmd and enter the command: set.
you'll see the variables your system works with.

Start | Run | Type or paste: %systemroot% | OK

This will open >>>

C:\WINDOWS
or
whatever drive/partition:\WINDOWS
