Can't find the %systemroot%\system 32 folder!

Please HELP!
I get the 16-bit ms-dos subsytem Autoexec.nt error with
certain applications. I have followed the instructions
here:

The instructions say to copy the entries into the
%systemroot%\system32 folder but I can't find it in my
computer???

Can someone help me please???

Systemroot is a standard environment variables that is defined on your
system. Only you can see what they are. Go to a command prompt, and
issue the command 'set' to see.

The default values are:
systemroot=c:\windows

If your machine is setup as a default, then this location will be
c:\windows\system32

But check.
