System Too Slow

My system DELL 4500 80 HD 1 Gig Ram is work way to slow. I have earthlink
and it keeps being too slow on cable. I cleaned AD & SPyware. I noticed
some issues, but since has been cleaned. I ran a Registry Fix and noticed
that the system had 300 issues. Do I need to buy a Registry Fix program? If
so which would be best? I don't seem to have a virus as it is clean. Any
help on this issue would be appreciated.

Hi CJR, which benchmark defines "slow"? And what is the system doing
when you think it is "slow"?
Have first a look at the task manager to see if it the CPU (CPU 100%)
or the HDD (CPU way below 100%).
The look at the running processes - which one takes an unusual byte of
the CPU- / HDD-time?
Try to define from taksmanager processes, wich one runs on a higher
priority?

Have you checked your system for virus?
Does the "slow" behavior stop after a while?

_Just_ on cable? That's an issue with your ISP, quite possibly.
I cleaned AD & SPyware.

Using what? AFAIK, no one spyware/adware cleaner is enough, and most
people will advise you to use more than one.
I ran a Registry Fix and noticed that the system had 300 issues.

What is "a Registry Fix"? What "issues"? Never mind -- as has been
discussed here, people who don't know what they're doing are better
off leaving their registry alone. (That's not a put-down, just a
simple statement of fact. It's too easy to screw something up
irretrievably.) Under NO circumstances should you run any sort of
automated registry cleaner.
Do I need to buy a Registry Fix program? If so which would be best?

"None of the above."
I Ndon't seem to have a virus as it is clean.

Whatever that means.

What does your antivirus program say when you run a full scan? Which
antivirus are you using?

P.S. Please don't post the same query twice. We heard you the first
time.
