My system keeps shutting down. The message that I eceive
is

Windows must now restart because the Remote Procedure
Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectantly.

What do I need to do?

1. Login
2. Right click My Computer, select Manage
3. Expand Services and Applications
4. Click Services
5. Find Remote Procedure Calls (RPC)
6. Double click it, click on Recovery
7. Change first one from 'Restart the Computer' to 'Restart the
Service'
8. Change other two to 'Take no action'
9. Click ok
10. Now the computer will not reboot.
11. Open IE, click on Tools, Windows Update
12. Download Security Patches esp. MS06-023 to fix MSBlast
worm problem
13. Install it and reboot.
14. To prevent further attacks, make sure you have a Firewall program
installed or enable Internet Firewall Connection for you Dial Up
