System Restore

My son has been playing NET games and now my PC just keeps rebooting even in
safe mode etc.

If only I could get into safe mode to do a system restore. Can anybody help
me please. I hate the idea of having to do a full reinstall.

Hi laptop,

Do you dual-boot? If not I would advise you do you so, even to create
another partition for your MY Documents folder and even your E-mails as well
as your Favorites and Address Book, if you don't wish to Dual-boot.

This way, with a Dual-boot, you can run an Anti-Virus scan on the other
operating system from a second partition.

You probably have a Virus. Did you create a Rescue Boot Floppy for
running n Anti-Virus Scan?

Boot to Safe Mode Command Prompt, then type the following command then
press ENTER.

%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

If this doesn't work, then I would suggest a repair install.
