system restore

help please system restore does not work. no back up dates there. i have put
disk space usage up to max but still no luck help please.

In response to your earlier post, I asked two questions:
(1) Have you updated your computer with Windows XP
Service Pack 2?
(2) If you have updated, are you running a HP or Compaq
computer?
Your new post implies that the answer to both questions
is "No". If that is your answer, I can't offer you any
help; but if the answer is "Yes", HP states that in order
to have access to your Restore Points you MUST uninstall
SP2, apply the fix they offer, and then reinstall SP2.
