System Problem

After burning an audio CD, my computer crashed and since then, boot-up and
overall computer operation has been incredibly slow. If i look at processes
in task manager, System Idle Process is using anywhere between 50% and 99% of
my CPU memory. I have basic working knowledge of computers, I use windows xp
home edition, and for security i use Norton Internet Security. Please Help

I'm no expert,... but will suggest you get the FREE Spybot and Adaware.
Download, update and run both.
