After boot up my computer runs ok for about 1/2 hour then freezes until I restart. It is then fine. It seems to be when Outlook or Word is open, but I'm not sure if that is a factor.
I've changed the fan, run AVG and Malawarebytes, done a disk check and defrag blah blah blah.

Hiya,

Unfortunately there really could be a number of things causing this issue, need to narrow it down a bit really... When the system hang's does it freeze completly, eg can't move mouse and keyboard non responsive and you have to physically turn it off and then back on again? Does it ONLY do it when Outlook/Word are opened, if so what version are they. Also have you got the specification of your PC, memory, processor etc.

Cheers.

Thanks for that, and do you physically have to turn the computer off and then back on with the power button when it happens?

Your computer is infected by the viruses so download the superantispyware and scanned with this antispyware.

installed the latest version of micrososft office.

delete temporary and prefetch files from the computer.

your hard drive may be no space so that it freezes the computer .

all the configuration are well. freezing is only due to unwanted softwares which are installed in your computer.

for more information click on Edited for spam, user banned - fbs and save the computer from the viruses.
