I (and others it seems) have problems with Windows Vista locking up and
freezing, it appears you have to wait a few minutes for the system to finish
doing whatever it is doing to free up again, this seems to happen randomly
and some have hinted at a hardware problem but, this a new computer from dell
and it should be tested and be alright, otherwise why would they sell it
knowing it would suffer these system stutters.
I think Microsoft needs to work more closely and with a better strategy with
hardware manufacturers to correct these failings, otherwise people won't be
as receptive to Vista as they could be, I hope within the coming weeks system
updates will be made available to correct a lot of these issues that
dedicated users and professionals use to make Vista a more usable and
enjoyable Operating System.
P.S - Even as a I wrote this my system froze for 2 mins.
