Syntax error problem

S

Scott Schwalbe

Need help on this.

I have AOL as a internet provider on a notebook that I
recently purchased. Everytime that I go into AOL and go
into internet, I'm getting this Internet Explorer Script
error that states:

An error has occured on this page.
Syntax error
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

I went and right click on internet explorer, went to
properties and under the security tab, I clicked on the
Internet content zone and click on the custom level and
disable active scripting and scripting on Java Applets
(which is under scripting).
I went back into AOL and into the internet and when I did,
I seen a note that stated:

Many Features of this site requires Java script and
cookies. You can enable both via your browsers preference
settings.

So naturally I had to go an reenable Active Scripting and
Scripting of Java Applets (which the Syntax error
reappeared).
Need to know if anybody had this same error and what steps
was taken to resolve it.

Install the lates script engine.
Microsoft's Scripting download
Get the latest. Two download versions are available for Windows Script 5.6.
The first version requires Windows 2000, XP; the second version requires
Microsoft Windows 98, Millenium Edition (Me), or NT 4.0. Choose the download
appropriate for your operating system.
