SyncToy File Exclusion Problem

I am trying to sync my "My Documents" folder from my main PC (Vista Ultimate)
to my Server (other computer in the basement running xp home). I have two
folders I am trying to exclude. They are "Recorded TV" and "Videos" Both of
these directories are huge and do not need to be backed up.

I have gone through and de-selected these directories (& their
sub-directories) but it continues to sync them anyway. As a result the
server hard drive runs out of space and the sync never completes. When I go
into the exclusions both of those directories are checked again...weird.

Any suggestions?

Hi

I have the same problem with version 1.4. All subfolders are copied even if
I exclude them from the selection. Each time I go into 'Options' it quite
happily remembers the correct exclusions, but it just doesn't act on them in
either the Preview or the Run.

Looking at this forum, the problem has been around for a few versions now
(for 2 years!).
Is anyone from Microsoft taking any notice of these posts??
