syncing issues

I use Windows Media Player to sync songs to my Creative Zen Micro Photo mp3
player. My question is, can I delete songs from my computer and keep them on
my mp3 player? The songs take up so much room on my computer, and I don't
want to bog down my system more than it already is, but I want to keep the
songs on my mp3 player. Is there a way to change the sync settings so I can
delete music, but keep it on my mp3 playe? Thanks!!

Using Windows Explorer you can delete any or all songs from your system.
Use the Copy&Paste feature to put songs on your MP3 player, that way you
can delete or add. The Sync feature has created many problems in the past
depending on the type of player you have. If your MP3 player goes on the
blink, you have no way to recover any music once deleted, thus, recommend
you burn audio CD's for backup. Hope you have a CD burner on your PC and
then delete all you want to make room. Happy putering :~)
