Synchronizing sent mail

Guest

I use Outlook 2007, but also use web access for my e-mails when away from my
laptop (using Horde).

Is there any way that I can synchronize my sent items between Outlook and
the server - currently if I send an e-mail via Horde it won't be synchronized
with Outlook.

Thanks,

Andy

Depends on which mail protocol you use. If POP3 you can only retrieve items
from the Inbox so you can move the Sent Items to your Inbox folder on Horde
and Outlook will collect it. To automate the sorting (so they will be moved
to your Sent Items folder in Outlook) you can use rules.

Thanks Robert.

The inbox is POP3, outbox is SMTP. I never though of using rules to sort
the e-mails when I got them to Outlook.

Andy
