synchronise outlook folders between notebook and desktop

I have a desktop which is my main computer and I use Office 2007 Outlook for
my emails. i have a Tiscali broadband connection and clear my emails on
their server as soon as I have them on my desktop.

I also have a Notebook which I use to work on when I am not sitting at my
desktop. I have a WiFi connection in the house so sometimes I find it easier
to work at my dining table with all my papers spread out. I can access all
my files on the desktop for both read and write from my notebook. It would
be great if I could also see my personal folders on the desktop from my
notebook. I tried to open a new personal folder over the network but that
did not work. I wondered if there was another way of synchronising the
personal folders on both my computers but always making sure that my desktop
is the master and it accesses any new emails from the Tiscali server.

Any suggestions anyone? I would be very grateful
