Switchboard Manager

I haven't used Switchboard before.

I am attempting to branch from one main page to several
others by clicking on a command button for each. I could
add an event to each button but it seemed as if
Switchboard Manager should do this more efficiently.

In Switchboard Manager, I added my main Switchboard form
as the default (and it successfully opens at this page)
then I added the switchboards to which it should branch.
I have entered the command "Go to switchboard" and the
name I have assigned to each respective switchboard page.
I tried using the name of the Command button (e.g.
Command1) as the "item". No success. [This page has no
underlying table or query -- it is simply there to assist
the user to get to the pages where the data does reside.]

Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may have!!

you need to add in the SwitchtBoard table

SwitchBoard 2 will be listed in the table as 2, So from Menu 1 you will add
SwitchBoardID 1 , Item Number the Level you would like to see the "Go to
...."
between 1 to 8 and the, Item Text "what the user is looking at", Command 1
that is go to Menu Number, Argument 2 or 3 or 4 and so on.

From Menu 2 to go back to Menu 1 .
SwitchBoardID 2 , Item Number 1-to 8 ,Item Text "what the user is looking
at", Command 1, Agrument 1"Menu 1"

Hope this helps
