Support chat never works

Has anyone tried to use the free support chat for SP3? No matter which
browser I use (including IE 7.0), the person on the other end never
appears to be able to see anything I type, although it appears to send
the message and I can see everything the other person is typing.

From another beta, I remember this happening in Full Screen Mode only.

In the current implementation of the support chat, I don't see any
options for full screen vs. not. I'm just using the default chat
interface.
