Stuck at Blue Start Up Screen

I was using MaxBlast (Maxtor) to set up a new boot disc.
(IDE Main Boot disc -> slave virgin IDE drive) The app
was ~75% of the way done when the PC screen went black
and the slave drive stopped spinning.

Removed the slave drive and rebooted with the installed
main drive. It now stops at the blue XP start up screen
(the one right after the black XP loading screen)


CHKDSK found no problems.
Ran both MBR and Fixboot.


Any ideas?
