Structural disk error on C drive

J

Jon

I have windows 2000 and have used Macafee to tune it up,
defrag and so on for 2 years with no problem. Suddenly I
have structural disk errors on C drive and the disk fixer
on Macafe cannot fix it and tells me to run CHKDSK: /F in
DOS. I do and it still does not correct the structural
errors in the file section and Macafee cannot defragment
drive C until the structural error is fixed. I have a top
of the line IBM hard 80 Gig hard drive that is only two
years old. What can I do to resolve this problem?
Any help is greatly appreciated,

Jon

See whether IBM makes a drive utility for their own product....but it's very
possible your drive is going south.
