streaming audio w wireless router problems

I have trouble getting net radio stations to play well
when I'm connected through my wireless d-link router. The
problem is that, no matter what station i listen to, the
music gets interrupted and media player attempts to buffer
and reconnect (sometimes successfully). When I connect my
computer directly to the cable modem, the problem seems to
go away. Anyone have any ideas for fixing this problem?

I updated the firmware for the router and that solved the
problem, I think. If anyone else has this problem, I'd
recommend bringing the firmware up to date...
