Windows XP SP2
I have been using this computer for nearly four years with very little problem
Today however for some reason the computer stopped responding and I had to
close the programs with task manager and even that was difficult to get a
response.
Gradually the computer became more responsive and I did a virus scan with
AVG + spyware scans + a diskcheck. Nothing showed up
Now it is back to normal response but with one weird problem.
The "double click" function on the mouse no longer works. Even though it is
set for "double click" the computer reacts as if it is set for single
clicking.
I cannot resize or move a window except by the keyboard + other minor problems
It's kind of inconvenient!
I have tried to reset the settings on the folder options to "double
click" but to no avail
Any ideas on this?
Could I have picked up some kind of virus that is not recognised by AVG?
Thanks for help in advance
