strange date problem after OL import from OE

After searched the web, i known that to prevent received date of
email displayed as import email date, it should use OE export to OL
rather than use OL import OE email.
But i had a strange problem after OL import OE email. At 'Send item'
folder, the date of received email displayed correct; but move to other
sub folder under 'Sent item' folder, the date will display as date of
import email. If moved the email back to 'Send item' folder, the date
will display correct again.

Does anyone had idea on this? Thank a lot

That is because the Sent Items folder by default uses the Sent column and
other folders use the Received column. These 2 dates don't have to be the
same and only the Received property gets reset via the import process.

If you wish to avoid having the Received date reset to be the date of import,
then instead of importing from OE using Outlook, use Outlook Express to export
to Outlook.

Thank for helping. So, how can i set the subfolder sorting like the 'Sent
Item' one? As i tried to set the sorting order of the subfolder, but it seem
will 'reset' to default after i click another folder.

Just wonder, if that had any method to fix this after import OE mail from
Outlook?

There is no way to repair it. The original received date is gone for good.
