Import OE contacts/email

I just installed Outlook Live on the same computer as OE. I cannot import
from OE to OL. When I click on import from the File menu i always get the
message

The import and export command is not available

the only thing i have found reference this is Language settings might not be
correct but i cannot find a difference/problem related to language settings

HELP!!

I have the same problem. When I click on Import Export I get the message :
" The import and Export command is not available. Run Outlook set up again
to configure Import and Export correctly"

(In general why one cannot copy and paste error messages!!!!)

Anyway I received the CD for Outlook Live today and tried to run setup
again. It told me everything is installled. I tried Detect and Repair.
Everything is ok. Import Export is still not available.
