Storage Location of Offline Files

I have a home network. I have music files on a desktop that I want to make
as Offline, i.e. they will be stored and synchronized on the laptop.

The laptop has a partioned HD. I want to store the offline files in the D:
directory, but the default seems to be C:. How can I dictate where the
files will be stored on the laptop?

How do I run cachemov.exe? I have logged in as Administrator and tried to
run it from the Command prompt and from Run. Any suggestions?
