stopping multiple log ons

David

I am running win2k advanced server with Citrix 1.8 and we
use thin clients. I need to know if there is a way to stop
a user from logging on to the system multiple times from
different work stations. We are not running Active
Directory at this time. If anyone could please help with
this problem.

Thanks.....

David

Q. How can I limit Terminal Services so a user can only connect
one time?

A. For Windows 2000, there is a third-party application available
that does this - see thethin.net/r25b.zip.

For Windows Server 2003, set "Restrict each user to one session"
to "Yes" in Terminal Services Configuration. Alternatively, set
the "Restrict Terminal Services users to a single remote session"
group policy to "Enabled".
