I Have seagate cheeta 10k rpm with adaptec 19160/29160 scsi card in my
pc.

it run vey fine.

Now a week before I first Time got error. i. e.
Stop : 0x00000050, page fault in nonpaged area
address BFF21F1F BASE AT BFEB8000,DATA STAMP 3919B3DA - NTFS.SYS IN
W2k SERVER & WIN XP ALSO.

I TYE TO CHANGE MY RD RAM THEN ALSO THE SAME ERROR COMMING.

At first I began seeing strange application errors, my apps would

I WANT TO TAKE backups of my most vital data ,so tried a
fresh install, but every time the process came to a certain point;
"starting win2k" it threw the BSOD at me giving "x050 page fault in
nonpaged area etc. ntfs.sys"

Now this is a general error message that could contain anything so I
stripped the system bare of peripherals (all but scsi and video) and
it gave me the same BSOD.

I eventually figured that it had to be something with the disk maybe
it had corrupted the filesystem beyond recognition or?
I tried a clean install on the IDE disk and had the exact same problem
if I made it load the scsi driver during install.
Then I did an install without the seagate hooked up at all and I was
actually able to get the system booted with the seagate attached.
Then aiso it give me same problem

my pc config.

512 MB RD RAM

AGP 32 MB VGA CARD
ADAPTEC 19160/29160 SCSI CONTROLLER

There is a bug in ntfs plus data corruption on that volume. You should boot
Win 98/ME, load up sysinternal.com's ntfs reader, and copy the files to FAT32.
