stop error 8e

Has anyone seen and resolved this problem. I am using windows xp upgrade
and I occasionally get a blue screen stop error 8e ,usually when I am on the
internet, but I have gotten it while not on the internet. The error page
lists the win32k.sys under the stop error.

Stop: 0x00000083 (0xc0000005 ...

win32k.sys-address bf880989 base at bf800000, datestamp 3f73195d.
