Hello all, I need abit of help here, this is what is happening:
On Monday april 11th, I was working on my home PC and all of a sudden it
rebooted by itself, then once the restart was done it told me that
C:\windows\system32\config\system file is missing or corrupted. Removed all
peripherals and printers and still had the same problem. Placed the setup
disc in and it gave me this error stop 0x00000050 that my page_fault_in_
etc...

This is a brand new copy of windows xp home that was purchased less than a
month ago. My PC is a Compaq Presario S5010NX 2.5 GHZ processor, 640 MB of
Ram with a 80 GIG HDD, Has anyone encoutered this problem and what can I do
to get my PC to run again!!!??? Any advice or tips would be great
