Hi. I have a ECS Notebook Green550 with XP Home and
suddenly out of the blue, when turned on this morning it
returned the BIOS screen and then the first windows
screen for a moment and then it returned a BLUE SCREEN
wiht the message: stop: c000021a (fatal system error)
The session manager initialization system process
terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0x000026c. I
have restored the Operating System by putting the hard
drive as a slave in another computer and copy the 5 files
from C:\System Volume Information\_restore{74128AFF-
172A-4642-A4DE-474033CE1A94}\RP294\snapshot to
C:\WINDOWS\system32\config but always get the same
result. I also restored it by copying from
C:\WINDOWS\repair to C:\WINDOWS\system32\config
but then the computer restarts it self constantly. Please
advice on what to try next or what can be causing this
behavior (problem)
THANKS...Reynir

Did you install goback by roxio ?

Another possibility is this one where policies have been applied to IE6

If the installation was done by creating an image you might try
